Gleanings....

1.  Life is not a bed of roses, its a bed of roses and thorns, but the "roses" are in reality thorns, and the thorns only imaginary woes and worries...

2. Float through life like a unmindful ruminating child-like gypsy, albeit in love with the dance of the moment.

3. Those who have what they want are fond of telling those who dont have what they want, that they dont really want what they have..
Those who dont have what they want are fond of telling those who do have what they want, that they dont really want what they dont have..
Both seem satisfied with their lot, but none really is.

4. Dont do unto others, what you would'nt want them to do unto you. Heaven forbid if they could really do unto you what they really wanted to...

5. Try to think of the Creator as a friend

6.Be mindfully unmindful, and take life responsibly without taking yourself seriously.

7. Acknowledgement of fear of the Almighty is the beginning of wisdom.

8. Defeat teaches much more than winning, for it makes one humble humane strengthened and grounded.

9. Introspect, to find Respect for yourself...

India Gate Lawns

Sixty three crows hopped skipped and nibbled, at dawn
scrimping for crumbs at the sullied  "India Gate Lawns"
where the night before
crowds galore
had left remnants of their desires, for mirth
dirtied the lush greens, littered the bare earth
and left garbage to rot until next morn

Every evening people gather at the lawns
to find their inner joy at India gate lawns
Gorging on ice creams
living out happy dreams
trying hard to be happy forever,
'forever' lasts for just an hour
Reaching home, the joy diminishes
just like the garbage vanishes

at dawn, as crows arrive
the lawns survive and revive
crows do the clean-up act in sanitation
on the litter of human rejuvenation.

aromas nuances and the hues
the cycle continues
